Terms of Service

These terms apply to the use of ImageTextLab by Shopify merchants and authorized store staff.

Service

ImageTextLab provides tools for scanning store images, generating AI-assisted alt text, reviewing accessibility issues, preparing SEO metadata, and writing approved updates back to Shopify.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing it, ensuring that store content is accurate, and using the app in compliance with Shopify policies and applicable laws.

AI-generated output

AI output may require human review. ImageTextLab is designed to help merchants draft accessible and useful metadata, but final approval and publication decisions remain with the merchant.

Billing

Billing is handled through Shopify managed billing. ImageTextLab offers a Basic monthly plan at $4.99 per 30 days and a Basic yearly plan at $39 per year, each with a 3-day free trial unless Shopify displays different terms during plan approval.

Availability

The service may be updated, interrupted, or limited for maintenance, security, platform changes, or operational reasons. We aim to restore normal operation quickly when issues occur.
